A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCES is my story. It’s actually a book I started some years ago that I am presenting here to you in serialized form. It tells of my early struggle with addiction; getting sober for many years and launching a successful career as a casting director; then getting addicted again—this time to opiates—at the dawn of the opiate crisis. Finally it tells of my recovery from it all. A chapter by chapter list appears at the right side of my home page to make it easy to read each installment in order. A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCES will come out once a week.
